Remains of an Early-Christian basilica which, according to recent researches, dates from the V-VI century, are preserved near the Biljana Springs, in the area Studenchista. On its floor mosaics, in circular medallions, we see depictions of long-tailed birds in reserved movements and of fish in water. The motif of the fishing knot, as well as the fish scale ornaments of the mosaics in some of the Antique and Early-Christian constructions in this region, speak of fishing as one of the oldest occupations of this nation as well as the richness of the lake with fish.
