Asplenium viride, or green, is a species of spleenwort belonging to the family Aspleniaceae. In appearance it resembles A. trichomanes but differs by its intense green colour. The leafstalks have a creeping pattern, or they grow slowly, and each leafstalk has short petals on the underside of which are the spores. It is widespread in the Northern Hemisphere, and in the Galichica National Park it is found on wet rocky areas.
